Course Logistics

Business Experience

This course is intended for individuals who have at least two years of experience with one of the following roles:


  • Owner of a farm, ranch, or commercial fishing business

  • Significant involvement in managing their family’s farm, ranch or commercial fishing business

  • Substantial managerial experience as an employee in a farm, ranch, or commercial fishing business (to be reviewed on a case-by-case basis)

This course is generally not intended for people who are employed at a farm/ranch/fishery if they are not also owners of that business.

Description of Operation

California FarmLink does not offer services to operations whose primary products are cannabis, livestock for unconventional or exotic meat or leather, animals used primarily as pets or show-animals, christmas-tree farms, and timber operations.


In addition, the Resilerator is not intended the following types of operations:

  • Operations that do not intend to profit, including 501(c)(3) not-for-profit farms, and operations with no identified markets or plans to sell products;

  • Vineyards or orchards harvesting once a year and selling to one market;

  • Dairy operations that only sell bulk milk to an unrelated processor.
